The origins of this house probably date back to the Middle Ages, but it was not until the early 19th century that the building was transformed into a private mansion: a monumental portal and a Volvic stone staircase were added, the top floor was transformed into a noble floor, and ironwork decorated with marquisal crowns was added...
Having fallen into oblivion in the 1980s, the property is now the subject of a major restoration program in 2019, with the dual aim of preserving any remarkable features and modernizing the building to make it a heritage site that nevertheless feels "just like home"
